Create Your Account

Sign up in under a minute with just your email. No credit card required—your first two beds are free forever.

Once you're in, you'll land on your dashboard. This is your home base: a single view of everything happening across your crashpad business. It's empty now, but it won't be for long.

Add Your Property

Enter your property address—autocomplete fills in the details instantly—and add the beds or rooms you rent out. Set nightly or monthly rates, specify unit types (bed, room, apartment), and list what's included in rent.

CrashPadHQ automatically calculates your distance to 20+ major airports, so crew members searching for a crashpad near their base can find you fast. Upload property photos and arrange them with drag-and-drop ordering to make a great first impression.

Set Up Tenant Agreements

Use the built-in drag-and-drop agreement builder to create a professional tenant agreement template. Add your terms, signature fields, dates, and any custom fields you need—no lawyer or PDF editor required.

When you create a booking, the agreement is sent to the tenant automatically for electronic signature. Signed copies are stored with the booking so you always have documentation when you need it.

Configure Payments & Communications

Set up your check-in instructions, house rules, and payment details. CrashPadHQ doesn't take a cut of your revenue—you collect payments however works best for you (Venmo, Zelle, bank transfer, cash).

Automated emails handle the rest: booking confirmations when a reservation is created, check-in instructions before arrival, check-out reminders before departure, and payment reminders when rent is due. You can enable or disable specific notification types per property.

Publish Your Listing

With one click, generate a public listing page for your property. It includes your photo gallery with a full lightbox viewer, an interactive availability calendar, unit details, pricing, and airport proximity—everything a potential tenant needs to decide.

Tenants can check real-time availability themselves without messaging you first. That means fewer back-and-forth messages and faster bookings. Track page views and unique visitors to see which Facebook groups, crew forums, or other channels are actually driving interest.

Register Tenants & Create Bookings

Add tenants with their contact info, employer, and work details. Gender tracking helps with shared room assignments. Once a tenant is in the system, creating a booking takes seconds—pick the bed, set the dates, and CrashPadHQ handles the rest.

Costs are calculated automatically based on your rates. Overlap detection prevents double-bookings. The agreement goes out for signature immediately. And the booking automatically transitions through confirmed, active, and completed statuses based on dates—no manual updates needed.

Your dashboard surfaces prioritized action items—unsigned agreements, pending payments, upcoming check-ins and check-outs—so you always know what needs attention first. Vacancy gap warnings flag open beds between bookings so you never miss revenue.

The All Beds view gives you a single operational snapshot across every property: who's in each bed, who's arriving next, and what's vacant.
